-1946- Owner: Gibsonman This 46 was refinished 40 years ago by Martin, and I have the paper work to prove it. When I got it the pickguard was missing, and it needed work. I was able to find a peice of cellioud from about the same period . I sent the guitar to Steve Kovacik in New York to make and install the guard. He also did a neck reset. The bridge was changed by Martin in 1972. The bridgeplate is org. It,s a full large sounding guitar having the tapered braceing. Martin did a great job of refininshing it.
